About Us

Our History

 

1998
Calmanz Inc Attorneys was established as a legal partnership by Venesan Naidoo and Yushavia Bangaar Naidoo. 
 

1999
The practice began its specialization in insurance law and recoveries.
 

2000
The practice relocated to Randburg. 
 

Late 2001
Calmanz Inc was incorporated and registered with the Registrar of Companies. The company continued with greater focus on key sectors within the insurance industry.
 

2011
The Recoveries business of Calmanz was sold the Digicall Solutions. Calmanz held at 26% stake in the Recoveries business which was run by Digicall Solutions.
 

2012
Calmanz sold the remaining 26% stake in Digicall Solutions. It was decided to formally close Calmanz.
 

2012
Venesan Naidoo Inc was established.

 

Our Structure

 

We have a professional service division backed by an administrative division.
 

The level of training and expertise amongst our professionals and staff is widely recognized as being of the highest order, while the technological infrastructure of our administrative system is designed to handle a high-volume workload. 
 

We have two admitted attorneys both of whom hold the right of appearance in the High Court.

  • Maintaining and upgrading our fully integrated IT workplace

  • Development of innovative communication software aimed at improving service delivery and customer satisfaction. For example, our IT infrastructure allows us to establish permanent electronic links with our clients so that they can access the latest information and reports as they are captured on our system. This also reduces the amount of paper generated.

Our Correspondent Network
 

Venesan Naidoo Inc work in close relationship with various attorneys around the country. We accordingly have a preferent fee structure in terms of which we able to offer our services on a national basis and not just limited to a particular area.
 

We also make extensive use of Document Exchange with whom we have an advanced contract. We therefore do not have to appoint correspondents in Cape Town, Durban and Bloemfontein as we already have jurisdiction in those areas.
 

Footprint in the industry
 

Venesan Naidoo Inc is on the panel of most of the large insurance companies and has a specialized focus on the recoveries industry.
 

Or entire system is web based with which we offer tracking and reporting.

We have full e-mail and internet facilities. We also have scanning facilities and web access is available to all clients. We also have a direct connection via modem to the Registrar of Companies, Registrar of Deeds, ITC and vehicle registration searches. Our IT infrastructure provides for a more efficient flow of documentation and eventually result in a reduction administration costs.

PROPOSED SERVICE LEVELS
 

All service levels will be agreed on with the client however our company will be able to provide the following service levels:-

 

 

  •  Within eight hours of receipt of a recovery file, we shall acknowledge receipt and take the necessary action.
  •  We shall at all times maintain a functioning diary system and follow up diarized files within 5 working days
  •  Maintain an adequate filing system to enable rapid tracing of files. The files shall be neatly maintained and all incoming and outgoing correspondence shall be retained in them in date order.
  • 100% of all incoming mail shall be coupled with the relevant file and responded thereto within three working days of receipt. All outgoing mail shall reflect a reference number, date and the name of the author.
  • Telephone calls will be returned within 48 hours and on exception within 72 hours.


Law Society
 

Our firm is registered with the Law Society of the Northern Provinces and we are bound by their Rules. We are audited every second month in terms of Law Society rules. We hold a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate and as such clients are fully covered and insured.
